The fourteen sentences that you wrote in your notebook today (in section one) need to be translated into English, so that both languages should be written down.
Review these types of sentences as well as the vocabulary on page 55 of the textbook and other structures in Chapter 2 (Unité 2). There will be a test of both grammar and vocabulary on Friday, so review your notebooks as well. Bonne journée! Copy the word list #6 "Music and Sports" (found on Quizlet) one time each into the vocabulary section of your notebook. These words will be on the chapter test this week.
Bonne journée! Complete the telling time worksheet. You are practicing writing the time in French. You do NOT need to write it in English.
If you did not turn in your comic (in French), be sure to get that turned in tomorrow. The next notebook check is this Friday. Make sure you are caught up! You also need to be reviewing chapter two ("Unité 2") in the textbook, especially the vocabulary on page 55. Review the phrases and grammar structures throughout the chapter. There will be a chapter test later this week! Bonne journée! Finish your comic strip storyboard. The dialogue should be written on the lines and needs to be in French (use a dictionary, if necessary, or get ideas from the textbook). The final product should be in color and show effort and care. as well as telling a story.
Bon weekend! Using the comic on page 51 of the textbook for inspiration, write your own comic in the storyboard. Write the dialogue (in French) on the lines below the picture. You should have at least a rough draft in pencil by Friday, a finished version in color by Tuesday.
Bonne journée! Write five (or more) original sentences using the verbs etre and/or avoir. Look at the examples from the classwork, and then come up with your own.
Bonne chance! Write five original sentences in French in the fourth section of your notebook. Don't forget to write the date plus "Semaine 7!" Use the example sentences in your homework handout for inspiration, but try to come up with your own sentences using the vocabulary from the two lists.
Bonne journée! Do pages 6, 7, and 8 in the handout "Indefinite articles around the house." Look at the vocabulary in the boxes and use them to help you translate into French.
Bonne journée! Do pages 3, 4, and 5 in the handout on definite articles and family. Be sure to read over the vocabulary in the boxes; you will need it to do the work!
