Bonne journée !
Do pages 95-96 of the worksheets I distributed today. The first page gives you the vocabulary you will need for the backside. On the back you will write two complete sentences for each item, asking "how much" does something cost and then giving the answer. Write out the numbers in words, as well.

Reading comprehension page. Read it! Both sides! Answer the questions in complete sentences!
Bonne journée ! No homework today! Thank you for studying for the chapter 7 test.
Bonne journée ! Two half sheets: read the directions!
You have two half-sheet pages to do on adjective agreement. Sometimes you have to change the adjective to make it go with the noun, if it's singular or plural, or masculine or feminine. However, sometimes you don't have to change the adjective at all! So, read the directions carefully...
Review all the vocabulary and verbs we have had in this chapter, especially what is on the review page, so you will do well on chapter 7 next week! Bon week-end ! Fill out the chapter seven vocabulary review page. Make sure you know how to conjugate each of the verbs on the page, and review the rules for adjective agreement (masculine/feminine, singular/plural).
Bonne journée ! Color the vocabulary flash cards and study them. You will need to know these words for the chapter test!
"But Miss Tee," I hear you say, "How does one study vocabulary?" I suggest you write the words one time each in your notebook (in the vocabulary section, of course), and then perhaps write a sentence with each one, using some of the colors and other adjectives you have learned in this chapter (for example: "Je porte un pull rouge."). That's what I would do! If you do this too, I will give you some bonus points (the number will vary depending on the extent of your additional work). Bonne journée ! Finish the exercises in the packet: 13, 14, 15, and 16. Some of these are very short. Be sure to read the directions. You will need to look at page 241 in the textbook for some of them (the clothing size chart and the enquête culturelle).
Bonne journée ! Do exercises 9, 10, and 11 on pages 111-114 in the workbook handouts. Please read the directions carefully. You may need to adjust the adjectives a little to make them match the nouns they are modifying.
Exercise number 10 is especially tricky. You are replacing one word each time to make a slightly different sentence. You might be replacing just the subject or just the adjective or just the verb, but then you may have to alter the endings to some of the other words to make them agree in gender and number. If you have questions, please post a comment here, and I will try to explain it better. Bon week-end ! Do exercises 4 and 5 on pages 106-107 of the workbook packet. You can review textbook page 222 to remind you of the grammar rules.
You can start going on Quizlet now for list #18 of the vocabulary. The more often you practice, especially if it's a little bit every day, the easier the test will be! Bonne journée ! |
