Bonne journée !
Fill in the verb chart with the regular -er verbs ("premier groupe"). Each row is a different verb, like aimer and détester, and each column is a different subject, like je, tu, il, etc. So, you will go across the first row and conjugate aimer for each of those subjects: j'aime, tu aimes, il aime, nous aimons, vous aimez, ils aiment. One box in each row is done for you, to help you remember the endings that go with each of those subjects and the stems that start each of those verbs. Got it? Good! If not, please leave a comment or question below, and I will get back to you.
Bonne journée !

Fill out the practice test for chapter six. Make sure you know the verbs and the vocabulary.
Study for the chapter six test tomorrow! Read through the textbook, your notes in your notebook (I hope you can read your own writing), and the review page I gave you. If you have any questions about this, please leave a comment below this blog post. (Legitimate comments will earn bonus points.) Bonne journée ! Do the exercises in the textbook page 203, #6, 7, and 8. Your answers for 7 and 8 will vary, so don't just copy your neighbors! If I still have your notebook, write your answers on a piece of paper and then glue them into your notebook when you get it back (fourth section).
Be sure to study chapter six for the test on Thursday. Review your notes, and/or the chapter in the book itself, and the review page that you did for homework last night. If you study, the test will be easy. If you don't, it won't. Bonne journée ! Fill in the vocabulary and chapter six review page. Make sure you know how to conjugate those verbs!
Bonne journée ! Using the example on page 183 as a guide, write a paragraph about yourself. Describe your family, your pets, your classes, your hobbies, and why you would like to go to France. DO NOT USE ONLINE TRANSLATORS! You may look up individual words in the dictionary or on WordReference.com or use a book or an app to help you conjugate the verbs, but I do not want to see advanced verb tenses or complex expressions that I know you have not learned yet. Just write with your own understanding of French using the present tense. Turn this in on a separate piece of paper.
Bon week-end ! Fill out the handout about the weather. Write your answers in complete sentences following the models.
Bonne journée ! In the textbook, do exercises 1, 2, and 3 on pages 187 and 188. For exercise 1, you need to review the dialogue on page 186, which we read together in class. For exercise 3, your answers will vary based on your personal information (write complete sentences!). Write all your answers in the fourth section of your notebook.
Bonne journée ! Complete both sides of the reading comprehension page. Answer the questions using complete sentences (use the question to help you form your answer).
Start getting on Quizlet to practice the vocabulary for the professions (list #15). Bonne journée ! Fill out the little half-sheet with the appropriate form of the verb être on one side and the correct gender un/une on the other.
Bonne journée ! In the textbook on page 180, do exercises 8 and 9. Write your answers (as complete sentences) in the fourth section of the notebook. You will need these next week for a class activity.
Don't forget there will be a vocabulary quiz Monday on the list #14 "Nationalities." Bon week-end ! |
