Bonne journée !
Study for your AP tests, of course, but find some time to listen to or read something in French. The three superstars who actually came to class (hmm hmmmm) can start with reading the essay about the French school system from Français Authentique.

Catch-up day! Some of you are missing a number of assignments. Please do them before it's too late!
Bonne journée ! Read Français Authentique about La Révolution Française! Look up the words you don't know (and write them in the margins), and try to get the big picture about that period in French history. Johan divides his talk up into three main parts. It's just an overview (un survol).
Then, read the story of the revolution from a history textbook perspective (Trésors du temps). Highlight the difficult words, of course, but some of them may be in the margins for you. Don't forget Albert.io. You have two more of these, including the one due Sunday night, plus some of you need to catch up on past ones. Please read the explanations about why your answers were right or wrong. Don't just guess! Do the third column of the vocabulary practice, too ("En voyage et expressions avec avoir"). We will have a quiz next Wednesday! Bon week-end ! Do column three of the vocabulary review page. Write the English on one side and the French on the other.
Write your article summarie(s)! Finish all the late work that you owe me (cultural comparisons, Albert.io, grammar, etc.). Bonne journée ! Faites la page 119 dans le packet de la grammaire en dialogues (chapitre 30) au sujet des pronoms personnels.
Remplissez (au moins) un côté d'une feuille sur les comparaisons culturelles. Choisissez un sujet de chaque thème, et remplissez les détails sur votre région (pays, état, ville, ou communauté) et sur la France ou un autre pays francophone. Écrivez petit comme Caitee pour mettre autant de détails que possible ! Utilisez les documents que je vous ai donnés pour vous aider. Do page 119 in the packet of grammar dialogues (ch. 30) about personal pronouns. Fill in (at least) one side of a page about the cultural comparisons. Choose a subject for each theme, and fill in the details about your region (country, state, city, or community) and about France or another francophone country. Write small like Caitee to fit in as many details as possible! Use the pages that I gave you to help you. Bonne journée ! Do the second column of the vocabulary study sheet.
Do selection #7 in the reading comprehension AP practice pages. Start looking for an article to summarize for your weekly write-up (last one)!
Bon week-end ! Write up your 9th article by tomorrow (focus on francophone cultural topics).
Write a persuasive paragraph about the article we read about art, either agreeing or disagreeing with the author and stating your reasons why. (en français, naturellement) Bonne journée ! Read the article about art, whether or not it is essential, and pull out the big ideas from each paragraph, in order to be able to write a persuasive piece on the subject. We will continue the discussion tomorrow.
Bonne journée ! |
