The Harborlites Chorus is contestant number eight in Saturday's finals of the chorus competition. That means we will be on stage at approximately 3:10 p.m. Pacific time. Please check out the webcast, sweetadswebcast.com (see link in previous post) and watch our performance. You can watch the whole contest, if you want, starting at around 11:45 a.m. The eleventh place chorus starts us off as the mic testers, then the ten best choruses in the world for this year will do their "show packages": singing, dancing, emcee spots, and the occasional goofy props.
After all ten finalists have performed, there will be two quartet performances, one by the current Rising Star champions (young women under 25) and the new International quartet champions, who will be chosen and crowned (literally) on Friday afternoon. Then we will all be biting our fingernails up to the elbow waiting for the "call-off," the announcement of the winners! (This is scheduled for around 5:00 p.m.) Stick around and see how we do.
Feel free to leave me (appropriate) messages here following this post.
Cheers!
